MONTANA WATER TRUST BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Tim Polich, Board President
Tim is the Assistant Vice President for commercial loans with First Security Bank in Missoula. A former lineman for the UM Grizzlies, Tim is active in Rotary, Chamber of Commerce and the Grizzly Scholarship Association.

Paul Callahan, Vice President
Paul Callahan is a Vice President and Senior Hydrologist with PBS&J, a consulting firm specializing in water resources and engineering.

Ben Yonce, Secretary
A Certified Public Accountant at Langel & Associates in Missoula, Ben was raised in Montana and is an active member of the Missoula business community. Ben brings a unique perspective to the Montana Water Trust and years of financial experience.

Len Ballek, Treasurer
Len is a Senior Ecologist at Herrera Environmental Consultants in Missoula. Len is also a member of the American Society for Surface Mine Reclamation and the International Erosion Control Association.

Nancy Condit
Nancy is a ranch manager in the Ninemile Valley, 30 miles west of Missoula. She has years of experience breeding horses and running the irrigation and haying of a Montana ranch, and is a Missoula-area native.

Jim Durgan
Jim is the Park County Commissioner and a rancher. He is active in the Montana Cattlemen’s Association and lives outside of Livingston, Montana.

George Kesel
George is the founder and owner of 4 Seasons Fly-Shop in Missoula, MT. He brings the valuable perspective of a small business owner to MWT’s board, and shares his and his clients’ views on recreational and ecological uses of Montana’s watersheds.

Clay Landry
Clay is President and Founder of WestWater Research, a firm specializing in water rights valuations. Clay has advised both state and local governments and water users on water markets throughout the United States, Australia, Brazil, and the United Kingdom.

Betty Thisted
Betty is a landowner and former schoolteacher. Betty was formerly on the board of the Montana Land Reliance, and is active in weed control issues. She lives in Ninemile, Montana.

 

ADVISORY BOARD

Montana Water Trust’s Advisory Board is comprised of four members who assist with assessing the impacts our instream flow acquisitions.
