Montana Water Trust Missoula, Montana

Projects

The Montana Water Trust currently manages 18 agreements that restore up to 30 million gallons of water per day to rivers and streams in the Bitterroot, Blackfoot, Flathead, Missouri, Middle and Upper Clark Fork watersheds.

We have also prioritized the Big Hole, Upper Clark Fork, and Upper Yellowstone watersheds for implementing our cooperative Streamflow Restoration Program. We are working with landowners and other conservation groups to lay the groundwork for future project development in these priority watersheds.

Check out the interactive Watershed Map to see what MWT is doing to restore flows to the rivers and streams near your community.
